HTC brings a couple of bright, new color alternatives for the One M8

One-M8-red

HTC initially launched its flagship smartphone of 2014 in two color options, Gunmetal Grey and Glacial Silver, with a third, Amber Gold, being added just one month later. All three colorways exhibit the handsets beautiful, sleek design in a bold, yet elegant way, but are not to everyones liking. That’s why the Taiwanese company has today announced pink and red alternatives of the One M8 — so users can select a shade that suits their style.

The two newly-announced color variants will go on sale in the U.K. starting August 7 from O2 and The Carphone Warehouse. Customers interested in the pink version will be able to pre-order it as early as tomorrow, July 25, and will also receive a free Dot View Case. HTC is expected to launch the new colorways in the United States following their debut in the United Kingdom, though, nothing has been confirmed, as of yet.

The new red and pink devices internals are identical to the original HTC One M8, packing a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 powered by four 2.3 GHz CPU’s, 2GB of RAm, 16/32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD), an Adreno 330 GPU, LTE capabilities and, finally, a 2600mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.
