Rdio Now Allows Up To Five On Family Subscription Plan

Rdio has updated its family subscription plans to allow up to five people to enjoy its music streaming service at once. The family plans aim to prevent sibling squabbles over just one Rdio account, and they’re cheaper than buying separate subscriptions for everyone in the home.

When you sign up to an Rdio family plan, someone in your family is the main account holder, and they can add “sub-accounts” to their subscription for the rest of the brood. All sub-accounts have Rdio Unlimited plans so they can listen to all the music they want, whenever they want, without ads, and they can build and control their own collections, playlists, follows, and more.

With up to five people now allowed on one family plan, Rdio has updated its price structure to suit. Here’s what you’ll pay for the new plans:

  • Two accounts cost $17.99 per month
  • Three accounts cost $22.99 per month
  • Four members cost $27.99 per month
  • Five members cost $32.99 per month
