Real Racing 3 Update To Bring New Cars, New Events, iCloud Game Syncing

Real Racing 3 is set to get its first update since hitting the App Store back in February, and it’s going to be a big one. In addition to adding two new cars, users will see more than 100 new events, a new game mode, and iCloud save syncing. EA has published a teaser trailer ahead of the update’s release, which shows off the new cars.

Those cars are the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the Cobalt SS, and they look pretty darn sweet. It’s unclear whether you’ll have to purchase an in-app upgrade to get the additional content, but given Real Racing 3’s “freemium” approach, we’re anticipating that this will be the case.

The update is coming to Android (Google Play and the Amazon Appstore) and iOS — though only iOS users will get iCloud game syncing, of course. EA hasn’t provided a specific release date, but the company promises it’s “coming soon.” We’ll keep our eyes peeled and let you know when it drops.
