Google Now Widget Shows Up In Nexus Support Pages

Hey, remember that Google Now thing that we mentioned earlier this morning? Well, it turns out that there’s gonna be a widget, too, as revealed in the support documentation for the new Nexus 4 and 10, as well as the Galaxy Nexus, Samsung’s entry in the series.

Several of Google’s official support pages show an image and a description of the new Google Now widget that “displays a summary of your current Google Now cards, either on a Home screen or on the lock screen.”

Touching a section of the widget will apparently bring up the relevant Google Now information on the touchscreen, as well. The reference can be seen in the support pages for the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10, but not for the Nexus 7, for whatever reason. Details are thin as to how the widget will show up on supported Nexus phones, whether as a download or an Android OS update, but we’ll keep an eye out and let know know when we do.
