Do your children ask you every day when Santa’s going to arrive? Now you can show them, thanks to Google’s new Santa Tracker app for Android smartphones and tablets. Built by “Santa’s developer elves,” the new app features a countdown to Christmas Eve, then allows you to track jolly old Saint Nicholas on his journey to children all over the world.

The free app is available to download now from Google Play, but it doesn’t really do a lot at the moment — it just offers a colorful countdown to Christmas Eve. But when that countdown reaches zero, you’ll be able to track Santa’s sleigh from the moment it leaves the North Pole.

Not only will it show you Santa’s location on a map — powered by Google Maps, of course — but you’ll also be able to see how many presents he’s already delivered, the route he’ll take around the globe, and when he’ll be visiting your part of the world. What’s more, if you live in North America, you can even use the app to request a personal Google Voice call from Santa himself — isn’t that awesome? Your kids will love it.

If you don’t have an Android device that you’re happy to hand to the kids, you can also access Google’s Santa Tracker via a web browser.
