6Wunderkinder has announced a brand new version of Wunderlist that’s coming to Android, iOS, Mac, and PC just in time for Christmas. Wunderlist 2 has been “reengineered, rebuilt and redesigned, from start to finish,” its creators tease. Check out what’s new and get a glimpse of the new app in the preview video below.

Wunderlist 2 will be a brand new, native app across all devices — so there will no longer be a separate build for your smartphone and tablet. It’ll boast a supercharged backend that sure to make everything a lot snappier, and a whole host of new features that’ll make it more powerful than ever before.

It’ll look a little different, too, with a new, simpler and more intuitive user interface that promises to look great on high-resolution devices, like Apple’s Retina display iPhones and iPads. You can get a glimpse of the new look in the video below.

We don’t have an exact release date for Wunderlist 2, but 6Wunderkinder promises it’ll be here before Christmas. The app was submitted to Apple earlier this week for App Store approval, so we shouldn’t be waiting too long now. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it arrives, of course.
