Ebay Urging Sellers To Take Advantage Of Strong Buyer Demand For The Nexus 4

You probably didn’t need Ebay to remind you that the Google Nexus 4 is in high demand, but that’s exactly what they felt the need to do. Ebay is urging sellers to take advantage of strong buyer demand for the Nexus 4, and in essence, feeding the shark frenzy of scumbags looking to take advantage of those who actually want to use the device.

The good news? Ebay has set some limitations on how many Nexus 4 devices can be sold and by whom. These types of restriction are reserved for high demand devices and while sellers are used to seeing these restrictions on device like the iPhone, it’s the first time a Google Nexus has been given the honors. I guess that’s good news… right?

Anyways, if you are looking to bleed your fellow man of his hard earned money because frankly, you’re a douche, here are the list of restrictions given by Ebay:

Google Nexus 4 Product Post-Launch Sales

You may list a Google Nexus 4 with some limitations:

  • Authorized resellers will be allowed to list an unlimited number of items per week.
  • eBay Top Rated Sellers will be allowed to list up to 8 items per week.
  • All sellers meeting minimum performance standards will be allowed to list 4 items per week.
  • New sellers who’ve confirmed their personal information may list 1 item per week.

Note: Sellers not meeting minimum performance standards or that haven’t confirmed their personal information will not be allowed to list the Google Nexus 4 during the post-launch sale period.

Google Nexus 4 Domain Name and Email Address Sales

Sellers offering Google Nexus 4-related domain names or email addresses for sale on eBay will be allowed up to 4 listings per week.

If you’re one of the unlucky chaps still trying to score a Nexus 4, or have to wait 6-8 weeks before you see the one you ordered, I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies. Please, whatever you do, don’t support the vultures on Ebay.

I have seen a few “deals” on eBay when I was looking which weren’t to bad. Around the $430-450 mark for the 16GB (Here in Australia its $399 from Google) so I was tempted to just get one. Until I noticed the $255 postage fee. These people need to be taken into a back ally somewhere and beaten until they can no longer feel pain. Then and only then should they be shot in the fucken face before allowing them to die in a fire.

    Disgusting.
