Sprint Switches On 4G LTE For 11 New Markets

Sprint may not be in last place when it comes to the 4G LTE arms race, but they’re certainly not in first. Lagging well behind the likes of Verizon and AT&T, Sprint has just recently managed to bring its 4G LTE market total to a pathetic 43 markets. I say pathetic because half of them can hardly be considered “markets.” Since Sprint is simply playing the numbers game here, let’s take a look at the 11 new “markets” recently added to Sprints 4G LTE list.

  • Anderson, Ind.
  • Clarke County, Va./Jefferson County, W.Va.
  • Harrisburg/Carlisle/Hershey, Pa.
  • Hagerstown, Md./Martinsburg, W.Va.
  • Harrisonburg, Va.
  • Muncie, Ind.
  • Peabody, Mass.
  • Salina, Kan.
  • Shenandoah County, Va.
  • South Bend/Mishawaka, Ind.
  • Winchester, Va.

Sprint customers have been patient long enough,I think it’s time to start lighting up some major metropolitan areas, don’t you?

I agree with you on the markets issue with Sprint, Vincent. I believe, however, that Sprint always has been the company to hit the smaller “markets”
