HTC-One-max-KitKat

HTC is currently rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat over-the-air (OTA) update to all unlocked models of its flagship phablet, the One Max, in Europe. In terms of functionality, the upgrade brings Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 5.5 to the device, complete with the usual plethora of bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements that we’ve grown to expect from any major software update.

Sprint is currently pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air stability update to all its carrier-branded HTC One smartphones currently located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring much in terms of added functionality, but it does include a handful of ‘system stability improvements,’ all aimed at making a user’s experience better when using the handset.

If you own an AT&T-branded Moto X and registered as a member of the Motorola Feedback Network you should have received an invitation for a new soak test by now. If you chose to accept the invite, you will be prompted to download and install the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, however, it’s important to bear in mind that this is only a test version of the upgrade, and some issues may occur.

Google is about to roll out an update for its official Wallet app on the Play Store. This upgrade is set to bring several improvements to the user interface, a swanky new feature that allows users to track and manage packages, in addition to the usual multitude of bug fixes and speed optimizations.

Twitter has officially rolled out the latest version of its Twitter application to all registered Android beta testers via the Play Store. Version 5.2 comes in the form of a rather hefty update and brings with it the ability to take action on incoming tweets directly from the notification panel; enabling users to reply, retweet and favourite posts.
