ZTE today unveiled their new high-end flagship device for the US market — the ZTE Axon. The handset is filled to the brim with top-notch specs, which includes a 5.5-inch Quad HD display on the front with a pixel density of 534ppi, and comes with a metallic body for a premium feel.

Under the hood, the Axom is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 2GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of non-expandable storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and a 3000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. The rear of the handset houses a 13MP BSI sensor that is accompanied by a secondary 2MP depth sensor for added effects. There is also an 8MP selfie shooter located in the front of the device.

On the software side, the ZTE Axon runs on a near stock build of Android 5.1.1, with some ZTE features and apps running on top of it like Z Tray, which automatically displays or hides apps depending on the time of the day and your location.

The ZTE Axon is already up for pre-order on the company’s website in three colors: Phthalo Blue, Ion Gold. It will also be available on Amazon, Newegg, and eBay. The handset costs $449.98 and comes with a free TPU Clear Case and JBL earphones pre-loaded.
