Two press shots of the upcoming scaled-down variant of Sony’s flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z3 Compact, have been posted on Twitter for the world to see just two days before the handset’s expected to be announced at the annual IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin, Germany.

As can be seen in these images, the Z3 Compact continues to follow the traditional all-glass OmniBalance design we’ve grown accustomed to and is set to come in four breathtaking colors — Black, White, Red and Mint.

In terms of software, the Compact is likely to run the latest build of Android 4.4.4 KitKat skinned with Sony’s famous Xperia user interface, which is designed to provide a seamless entertainment experience by way of incorporating the traditional Walkman, Movies and PlayStation applications.
