Two days ago, a CPU-Z document appeared online disclosing the internal infrastructure of HTC’s upcoming Nexus tablet — codenamed ‘Volantis’. Now, today, the slate has popped up in the AnTuTu benchmark database corroborating everything we’ve heard about the device’s impressive specifications.

AnTuTu’s report confirms, the Nexus 9 will pack an 8.9-inch display (2560 x 1600), a 2.5GHz 64-bit Tegra K1 processor,5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, an 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 16/32GB of internal storage (non-expandable) and a 9,000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

The benchmark shows Volantis running the latest developer build of Android L with support for LTE connectivity. We expect the device it to ship with the final version onboard when it’s announced later this fall — so stay tuned for more information.
