Friday’s Pro Tip: Here’s how to wipe content stored within an application

Do you have an application you’re planning to uninstall and want to make sure that all your precious data stored within the app is completely deleted? If so, you may want to listen up as today we’re going to show you how to do just that. It’s not a hard task by any means; it’s quite simple, in fact, but you will have to spend a moment navigating through the settings in order to locate the correct option.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Open up Settings.
  2. Tap on the Apps subheading.
  3. Select the application that you’re planning to delete
  4. Hit the Clear Data and Clear Cache buttons.
  5. Click the OK button which appears on the active window.
