As from today, residents in Denmark, Norway and Sweden will be able to access Google’s newly-established Flight Search service which enables users to search for flights directly from the search screen in their native language together with pricing in their local currency — which they can then compare and book.

“If you access Flight Search, you’ll immediately see the price, duration and type of flight for several popular destinations you might like to visit — based on your preferences and previous searches. If you set your dates and tap to expand the map, you’ll see live prices for destinations around the world. ” writes Google in a post on its Travel Blog.

Once you’ve select your desired destination, you’ll automatically be shown a list of ‘Best flights’ (flights that represent the best tradeoff of convenience and price) as well as a tip on how you can save money. By leaving one day later, for example.

In order to access Flight Search you’ll need to visit the respective website for your country through www.google.dk/flights/, www.google.no/flights/and www.google.se/flights/. The functionality will also now be indexed in the search engine, too.
