For the past two years Microsoft has been developing a fully-functioning copy of its desktop Office suite for Android tablets and guess what… It’s almost ready! The computing giant announced earlier today that the application has just entered its beta testing phase and is inviting users to register for the opportunity to test a pre-release version — so if you’re game, you can apply to get your hands on a copy of the software right now.

According to Microsoft, the family of products currently available in the testing process include: ‘Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio, Access, Publisher and Outlook applications, as well as the Exchange, SharePoint and Project server products and cloud services.’

All you have to do in order to get in on the beta testing action is head on over to Microsoft’s dedicated SharePoint registration website, where you can sign up for either a home or business trial, both will grant you access to a wide range of applications and services. However, you will only be able to try the packages currently included in your Office 365 subscription bundle.

If you want to register for an opportunity to test the beta version of the Office for Android tablet app — click the source link below. There’s no guarantee you’ll get accepted, but there’s certainly no harm in trying.
