If you own an Oppo Find 7 or will soon be getting your hands on the OnePlus One, here is some good news for you. The folks over at CyanogenMod have added these devices to their roster for churning out CyanogenMod 11 nightlies on a regular basis. for them

The first batch of OnePlus One started shipping late last week but since it already runs on CyanogenMod 11S, the availability of CM nightlies for it in such a short time should not really come as a surprise.

The Oppo Find 7a shares the same internals as the OnePlus One, which made it slightly easier for the CM team to get their ROM up and running on it. Keep in mind that the current build of CM nightlies is only for the 1080p screen variant of the Find 7 and not the one with Quad HD screen. The CyanogenMod team, however, states that this build might also be compatible with the QHD screen version, though your mileage may vary.

Even though the OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod 11S, it is based on Android 4.4.2 and not Android 4.4.3, which was released a couple of weeks back. While flashing the CM nightly on your “flagship killer” will get you the latest version of KitKat, you will have to manually sideload the special CM Camera, Gallery and other apps that originally came with the phone.

Since both companies support the Android development community openly, you don’t have to worry about voiding the warranty of your device if you end up installing CM on it.

Head over to CyanogenMod’s download page to get the latest CM11 nightly for your device. The OnePlus One nightlies are available under the ‘bacon’ codename while the Find 7a ones can be downloaded from under the Find7 label.
