Google Leaks Image Showing New Dialer
For the past few weeks an upcoming Android update has been the talk of the town. Despite a few leaks, there’s been no real evidence to suggests what the upgrade may contain — it’s been pure speculation. Until today, that is. We now have our first screenshot of the build, straight from the horses mouth.
In response to a query about the call duration counter from a loyal Nexus owner on Twitter, the official Google Nexus account tweeted a screenshot of its new Dialer app that’s a little different to what we’re used to. As you can clearly see in the image below, the Dialer app has a fresh, new blue color scheme and a fancy, new business icon.

Because of the nature of the timestamp and the inclusion of a Google Calendar notification, we assume this image was taken by the person helming the Twitter feed, suggesting that a test build of an upcoming Android update is in the works and already undergoing internal testing, it doesn’t look as if it will be too much longer before we hear more about it.
