Google Glass Gets Much Awaited Support For iMessage Notifications

Google Glass

An update to Google Glass finally brings the much needed support for iMessages on iOS devices. This feature can be enabled via the Bluetooth settings where the users will have to turn on the “Show Notifications” toggle for your connected device.

But there’s a caveat. While users can read incoming iMessages on Glass, they won’t be able to reply back like on Android devices. Google claims that there are certain limitations with iOS which don’t allow them to activate this feature.

Another prominent feature making its way with this new update is Calendar Glassware. This feature, when enabled, will allow users to get a glimpse of their daily agenda on the left corner of their screen. These events can either be edited or removed according to the convenience of the users.

It’s good to see that Google has finally heard the pleas of Glass users on iOS by allowing iMessage notifications, although the support is fairly limited at the moment. Google claims that these changes will be rolled out in the next few days to all Glass users.
