Newer Images Of The Huawei Ascend P7 Surface [Leak]
The Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone was spotted once again over the weekend in a new leak courtesy of a French site. The smartphone is expected to break cover next month in Paris, so leaks like this are expected to increase in frequency as we inch closer to the official unveiling.
Surprisingly, one of the images shows the smartphone to be packing a 720p display and 1GB of RAM, so this could either be a very early prototype device or a low end variant of the Ascend P7. It is unlikely that the successor of the popular Ascend flagship from 2013 would feature low end hardware, so these theories make sense.
Past rumors have indicated that the smartphone will launch with a 5 inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and possibly an octa core SoC, so it will be pretty well equipped in terms of hardware.
The smartphone’s announcement in Paris is an indication of Huawei’s plans to go global, which is good news for European customers. It is hoped that the Chinese manufacturer will eventually make up its mind to launch smartphones in the U.S. again.
