Samsung has officially introduced  its latest affordable, entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy Ace Style, at a press conference in Hamburg, Germany. Unlike any of the South Korean company’s other budget-friendly handsets, the Style is set to ship running the latest build of Android KitKat, and will be available to purchase for around €250 ($340).

In terms of specifications, the Ace Style packs a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera without LED flash, a VGA front-facing shooter, dual-SIM capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0, 4GB of expandable internal storage and a measly 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

As previously mentioned, the handset will ship running the latest build of Android 4.4.2 KitKat skinned with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, which the South Korean company claims ‘is the easier way to use your device, giving you intuitive control over everyday tasks’. The Ace Style is also expected to receive the 4.4.3 upgrade upon its release later this year.

Unfortunately, the South Korean company did not provide any information with regards to availability, but a recent rumor did suggest that the handset will be heading to Asia and Europe in just under a month.
