Samsung unveiled the latest model of its flagship tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1, back in September, 2013, and a month later the device was available to purchase in the U.S. from several retailers for a rather hefty $549.99. The Note 10.1 is an extremely impressive high-end slate, packing a 10.1-inch ‘Super clear’ LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset powered by four 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU’s, 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 330 GPU, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and, finally, a colossal 8,220 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

In addition, the handset ships running the latest build of Android 4.4.2 KitKat skinned with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface, which Samsung claims is the “easier way to use your device, giving you intuitive control over everyday tasks.”
