All New HTC One Will Be A Verizon Exclusive From Tomorrow [Rumor]

HTC One

Verizon, America’s largest carrier, will exclusively carry the all new HTC One starting tomorrow, March 25. Other carriers like AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile will have to wait a couple of weeks to get the new smartphone. This information comes from an insider familiar with the matter.

A U.K. retailer last week announced that the smartphone will be available immediately after its March 25 announcement, so Verizon is doing something similar. A wider global release (in over 110 countries) will commence in mid-April.

Sources suggest that the estimated retail pricing for the handset is close to $600 unlocked, with contract pricing expected to be $199.99, which is standard for any new flagship.

Verizon’s early availability will certainly please customers as the 2013 HTC One took quite a while to launch via the carrier. So this early launch is in a way making up for all those lost sales from 2013.

The 2014 HTC One is expected to feature a 5 inch 1080p display, a 16-megapixel Duo Camera with a quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset. We also expect to see Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest iteration of the Sense UI.
