Qualcomm is currently pushing out a fairly major firmware update for its Toq smartwatch, together with some notable improvements for its companion Android application, which is now available to download from the Play Store.

As well as the usual speed optimizations, bug fixes and stability improvements that come standard with any update, software version 1.4.0.127 brings a new, revamped Activity Tracker, upgrades the text conversation history, and transports a bunch of gorgeous new clock faces which are guaranteed to bring Qualcomm’s first smartwatch a new lease of life.

To update your Toq, head on over to the Google Play Store, download the latest version of the official Qualcomm Toq application, pair your smartwatch via Bluetooth and follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade the device’s firmware.

When updating, please ensure that you have at least 50% of battery on both your smartphone and watch, otherwise some corruption may occur.
