The Samsung Galaxy S4 on T-Mobile is now getting the Android 4.4 update, much to the joy of the users. The update is available as an OTA and will require devices to be running Android 4.3 (software version M919UVUEMK2) to be eligible. The update can also be flashed through Samsung Kies software on your computer, but the OTA is preferred for its convenience.

The update is over 387MB in size, so make sure you’re on an unlimited Wi-Fi connection before downloading the update. Below is the official change log of the update:

• Improved stability
• New camera shortcut on the lock screen
• Improved on-screen keyboard

Samsung has been relatively quick with the roll out of the new update, although other carrier variants might have to wait a bit longer. Users are urged to maintain patience if they don’t see the update notification immediately, but it should reach all devices by the end of the day.
