Samsung Milk Music

Samsung has just announced the launch of its own radio service called Milk Music. This will be free for owners of select Galaxy devices and is currently available for download from the Google Play Store. Although the company claims this service will be ad free, the Play Store listing mentions that the ad free version is available only for a limited period. This means the app could be bombarded with advertisements in the coming months.

Functionality wise, users get a lot of music stations to choose from with over 13 million songs from and 200 stations. Naturally, users will be able to choose from a collection of genres and play those stations accordingly.

“Milk Music introduces a fresh approach to music that reflects our innovation leadership and our focus on creating best-in-class consumer experiences,” said Gregory Lee, president and CEO of Samsung Telecommunications America and Samsung Electronics North America Headquarters. “We’re offering consumers amazing, rich music experiences built around what matters most to them and their lifestyle.”

As of now, compatibility is limited to the Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 3 and the yet to be launched Galaxy S5. So Samsung is only supporting its flagship devices with this new radio service. Hit the link below and download the app if you own either of the aforementioned devices.
