At the beginning of this month, Sprint became the first carrier in the United States to roll out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its variant of the HTC One. Joining it today is the T-Mobile’s HTC One, whose Sense 5.5/KitKat update was certified by the carrier just a a few hours ago.

The initial roll-out of the update has already started with a wider roll-out expected to begin by the end of the coming week. KitKat brings quite a few enhancements and changes to the One including a transparent status bar with mandatory white icons, Cloud printing support and improved RAM management.

HTC has also introduced a few welcome changes in Sense 5.5 including a revamped Blinkfeed homescreen, updated lock screen UI and a flatter looking Gallery and Music Player.

The KitKat update for the AT&T One has also been certified by the carrier so expect the roll-out to begin sometime soon as well.
