Oppo’s Find 7 Will Sport A Removable Battery Cover

Oppo Find 7

Oppo continues to tease us with what’s rumored to be the company’s next high-end Android-powered smartphone, the Find 7. Earlier today, the OEM posted an image of a space-centric eclipse on its Weibo account, with a render of the device embedded in the picture, accompanied by the text; ‘Removable battery cover’.

The Find 7 is purported to feature a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD) and an Adreno 330 GPU. To put these specifications into some sort of perspective, most of the current high-end Android flagship smartphones feature 2GB of RAM and Snapdragon 800 chipsets, except the Galaxy Note III which is the only other handset to boast 3GB of RAM.

It certainly looks like Oppo wants to make its mark on the Android market with its latest upcoming flagship device. If these specs do turn out to be correct, and we really hope they do, it’s pretty safe to say that the Find 7 could potentially be the most impressive smartphone on the market, to date.

Stay tuned for more information on the Find 7 which is set to be unveiled at a dedicated event in Beijing on March 19. Cult of Android will of course be bringing you the most recent news as and when it breaks.
