The Huawei MediaPad X1 has leaked on a couple of occasions in the past, but the most recent shares details on its specifications as well as showcasing its design. It comes from Chinese certification database TENAA, and it gives us an early look at the tablet from all angles.

Huawei gave away hints of this tablet in a slightly weird teaser video published on Monday, which also promised a couple of other devices that will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week.

The back of the MediaPad X1 looks very similar to the HTC One, especially with the dual layer pattern for the top, middle and the center portions of the back panel. On the sides, there is a standard power key, a volume rocker, and a SIM card slot. The front portion reveals an opening for the earpiece and a couple of sensors along with the camera, so this could be one of those tablets with built-in phone functionality.
