Dual SIM HTC One, One Max & One Mini Now Getting Android 4.4.2

HTC One KitKat

The HTC subsidiary in Malaysia has announced that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat updates for the international variants of the dual SIM HTC One, One max, and One mini smartphones have begun their rollout. Owners can expect an update notification to hit their devices any time now if they haven’t already had one.

The update will introduce the Sense 5.5 interface to the dual SIM One and the One mini for the first time, while the One max came pre-installed with the new interface. In addition to this and the new features, HTC is giving away free 25GB of Google Drive storage to the users.

As for the update changelog, the three smartphones will see a change in the color of the status bar icons, which are now white. You will also see improved multitasking, a revamped gallery app, improved voice commands through Google Now, and the ability to print documents over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and compatible HP printers.
