Chinese manufacturer ZTE has just issued a press release that promises the arrival of the new Grand Memo II LTE smartphone at next week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company also teases the Grand Watch, its first Android-powered smartwatch.

The Grand Memo II is the successor to the original Grand Memo smartphone, which was announced at last year’s MWC. But interestingly, the new model will be powered by Firefox OS rather than Android.

The device is expected to feature a 6-inch HD display, but there’s no word on other aspects of its hardware at this point.

ZTE has other things up its sleeve for Android fans, though: it is also preparing the launch of the Grand S II as well. The company says that it will boast its new MiFavor 2.3 user interface, but again, it is saving its internal specifications for next week’s event.

Finally, ZTE is going to unveil a new smartwatch called the Grand Watch, which will mark the company’s first foray into the smartwatch market. Its competition at this point includes Samsung’s Galaxy Gear, Sony’s SmartWatch 2, and the Pebble — but it’s sure to see other rivals throughout 2014.
