HTC Desire 8 Headed To AT&T And Sprint [Rumor]

HTC Desire 8

According to renowned source of HTC leaks, LlabTooFeR, HTC’s latest Desire 8 smartphone could find a home in the U.S. soon — thanks to its support for AT&T’s and Sprint’s wireless bands.

The smartphone is expected to break cover in China, Europe, and the entirety of Asia initially — in standard, single SIM and dual SIM configurations. There’s no word on when the smartphone will get its official unveiling yet, but given that the MWC event is just a week away, there’s a chance we’ll hear more about the handset then.

And LlabTooFer claims that HTC will take advantage of its worldwide connectivity capabilities and bring the device to the U.S. as well.

The Desire 8 smartphone is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch 720p display, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front camera, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with the Sense 6.0 user interface.
