Minor Dropbox Update Fixes Camera Upload Hiccups

dropbox

Dropbox received a minor but longly-awaited stability update in the Google Play Store today. In terms of functionality, this upgrade doesn’t bring much, but it does bring tons of stability improvements speed optimizations and bug fixes, including a fix for the maddening issue which caused the camera auto-upload feature to malfunction.

Furthermore, the update also allows users to prevent videos from auto-uploading to the Dropbox servers, so only photographs will be pushed to the cloud and videos will remain on their smartphone for them to take care of later. Obviously, if they wish to, users can completely disable the camera auto-upload feature. This can be done by navigating into the integrated settings menu and tapping the button entitled ‘Turn off Camera Upload’.

The changelog for update, version 2.3.12.10, can be seen below:

– Fixes Camera Upload issue introduced by Android 4.4.2

– Option to limit Camera Uploads to only photos
