Samsung unveiled its ultra-portable Galaxy Tab 3 variant, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, back in April, 2013, and two months later the device was available in the U.K. from several retailers for £179. The slate packs a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), a 3.15-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 4,000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

In addition, the handset ships running the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface, which Samsung claims is the “easier way to use your device, giving you intuitive control over everyday tasks.”
