The Moto X and G both run on near stock Android with with just a few minor modifications. However, that has not stopped developers from cooking ROMs for the handsets. While CM11 builds are already available for the Moto X, its smaller brother — Moto G — has had to contempt itself with CM10.2 builds, based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

That changes today with the release of unofficial CM11 build for the Moto G, thanks to the hard work of developer dhacker29.

For an unofficial build that was released just a few hours ago, the build is stable enough for daily use. There are no serious bugs that will deter potential Moto G users from flashing the ROM. The only minor bug with the ROM is with CPU frequencies not scaling properly but the developer is actively working on fixing it.

The CM11 builds are available for all the different variants of the Moto G — US GSM, International GSM and Verizon. If you are interested in flashing the build on your Moto G, head over to this thread on XDA forums for the download link and further discussions.
