Boost Mobile’s Moto G Coming Soon

Today, Boost Mobile officially announced that it will be adding Motorola’s budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G, to its rapidly growing lineup of mid-range Android powered handsets. According to the press release, the handset will cost just $129 on Boost’s ‘no-contract’ $55 Monthly Unlimited Plan or its $3 Daily Unlimited Plan starting from this coming Monday, January 20.

The Moto G was released back in November, 2013, and packs a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1280, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB/16GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 2,070 mAh Li-Ion removable battery.

The handset will ship running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but the operator assures us that the device will receive an OTA update consisting of Android 4.4.2 KitKat in the not-too-distant future. Boost Mobile is also giving an addition 50GB of Google Drive storage free of charge with this device, so you’ll get 75GB of cloud storage in total.
