The popular British online retailer, Expansys, is now offering the unlocked European version of LG’s flagship smartphone, the G2, for £349.99, with a complimentary LG Quick Window cover to protect your shiny new handset, worth £34.99.

The G2 was announced in the United States back in August, 2013, and went on sale in the U.K. a month later. In terms of specifications, the handset packs a 5.2-inch true HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a 424 PPI pixel density, a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset powered by four 2.26GHz Krait 400 CPU’s, the latest Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of flash memory, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization and a 3,000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

In addition, the handset ships running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with LG’s famous “dumbed down” custom user interface. However, the device is expected to receive the much-anticipated Android 4.4.1 update in the not-too-distant future, which will put the G2 up there with some of the other high-end smartphones that run the latest version of the open source operating system.
