MetroPCS has broadened its horizons for the second time this year by expanding its LTE connectivity service to 15 new markets. The announcement was made in a single press release on the carrier’s website yesterday. The newly announced locations mean that the operator now provides 4G coverage in 45 markets across the United States.

The newly announced locations to receive the LTE service include:

  • Albuquerque – Santa Fe, NM
  • Cincinnati – Dayton, OH
  • Columbus, OH
  • Denver – Colorado Springs, CO
  • El Paso, Texas – Las Cruces, NM
  • Fayetteville, AR
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Louisville – Jefferson County, KY
  • Oklahoma City, OK
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Pittsburgh, PA
  • Portland, OR
  • South Bend – Fort Wayne, IN
  • Tucson, AZ
  • Tulsa, OK

MetroPCS claims that its LTE mobile technology is capable of delivering mobile internet speeds more than 10 times faster than the standard 3G network. In addition, both new and current customers will have access to T-Mobile’s advanced nationwide 4G LTE network, which now “averages LTE data speeds up to 7X faster than previously experienced.”

If you’re in one of the announced locations, where you have the ability to access the LTE network, why not give MetroPCS a call today to register for one of its reasonable 4G plans — you won’t be disappointed.
