Google was pretty busy yesterday, as well as unveiling its much-anticipated flagship smartphone of 2013, the Nexus 5, the team at Mountain View also updated the case offerings for its latest tablet – the Nexus 7 and its latest Chromebook – the HP Chromebook 11.

A quick glance over the Nexus 7’s accessory page on the Play Store reveals that Google has added two new color variants (“neon yellow” and “subtle grey”) for the official Nexus 7 sleeve, which was released back in August and works on either generation of the 7-inch slate. The case retails at $29.99, but, unfortunately, neither of the new colors are available to purchase just yet, as they are simply listed as “coming soon.”

In addition, Google also added a new color combination for the newly-announced HP Chromebook 11 sleeve. The listing displays the case in a two colorway combination which is a little different to what we have seen in the past. The sleeve has a metallic white exterior and a hot-rod red interior – that’s a gorgeous combo, if you ask me. The case is catalogued with the same $49.99 price tag, and once again is, rather annoyingly listed as “coming soon.”
