AT&T Expands 4G LTE Service To The Lake Of The Ozarks
AT&T has expanded its popular 4G LTE service to yet another market within the U.S. The announcement was made in a single press release on the carriers website, and reveals that the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, is the latest location to receive access to the service.
Starting today, residents located in the following areas will be able to access AT&T’s super-fast LTE service:
- Camdenton
- Eldon
- Gravois Mills
- Lake Ozark
- Laurie
- Linn Creek
- Osage Beach
- Sunrise Beach
- Versailles
As part of its Project VIP (Velocity IP), a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. The carrier aims to assemble and install an additional 10,000 “macro” cell towers across the U.S. by 2015, bring into service more than 40,000 small cells and add more than 1,000 Distributed Antenna Systems to increase the density of its wireless network.
AT&T 4G LTE provides users with faster data speeds for snappier web browsing and much quicker downloads. LTE mobile technology is capable of delivering mobile internet speeds more than 10 times faster than the standard 3G network.
If you’re in one of the announced locations, where you have the ability to access the LTE network, phone up AT&T today to upgrade to one of its 4G plans – you won’t be disappointed.
