ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T To Go On Sale In The U.K. Starting October 21
Announced last month at IFA 2013 in Berlin, ASUS’s latest Transformer Pad variant, the TF701T – which ships with the traditional dock included – will go on sale in the U.K. through Amazon and eBuyer starting Monday, October 21, with the price tag of £429.99.
The TF701T is essentially a re-vamped version of its predecessor, the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, packing a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, a 1.9GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD) and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
In addition, the slate also features several connectivity options, including; a USB 3.0 port, HDMI out (capable of driving a 4K display), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/b and microUSB 2.0.
Just like other devices in the “Transformer” range, the dock houses an 16Wh additional battery for extra juice. This combined with the 31Wh battery in the tablet, provides up to 17 hours of constant battery life when used together.
