Sony Xperia Z1 To Come In Black, White & Purple [Rumor]

A leaked press render has now surfaced, revealing Sony’s upcoming flagship handset, the Z1, in the company’s famous trio of colors – black, white, and purple. This leak comes just over a week before its scheduled launch at the IFA which is due to take place in Berlin, Germany.

According to many recent rumors, leaks and speculations, the Xperia Z1 is set to feature a 5-inch full HD 1080p capacitive touchscreen powered by Sony’s X-Reality Engine, a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear-facing Exmor R sensor, 16GB of internal storage, microSD expandability, 4G LTE capabilities, as well as IP57 dust protection and waterproofing.

Throughout the past weeks, several benchmark results have appeared online supposedly tested on a Z1 prototype, which racked up an impressive score of 30,625 in Antutu – ranking higher than both Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and HTC’s One.
