LG Optimus L1 II Coming To Three U.K.

LG announced its ultra-affordable extra small entry-level Android smartphone, the Optimus L1 II, last week and today we have confirmation that it’s heading to Three U.K., from where it is expected to launch “soon.”

The L1 II is a minuscule device measuring in at a tiny 102.9 x 59.2 x 12.2 mm, but it manages to pack a 3-inch TFT capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), and a 1520 mAh battery.

When unveiled in Vietnam and Russia, LG confirmed that the device would have a $95 price tag, so its more than likely that the L1 II will cost around £65 on PAYG when it arrives in the U.K., and will probably be offered for free on selected 12-month contracts.

The handset will also be available on Three’s new PAYG rates, coming in at 1p per minute, 2p per text and 3p per MB of data, and incidentally Three U.K. will hold exclusivity over the white version of the L1 II.
