Sony “Honami” Leak Reveals a G-Lens & A 20MP Sensor [Rumor]

Honami G Lens

A recent series of leaked images reveal that Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the “Honami,” is expected to feature a G-Lens. The numerical value of the resolution and focal length are usually printed on the back of Sony device’s, but on this occasion they have temporarily been replaced with “X.”

However, we now have some evidence showing that the device will feature a 20MP sensor, thanks to this leaked image of the camera settings page. The photo displays a variety of different camera settings, with the highest being 20MP – at a resolution of 5248×3936(4:3) – and the lowest presumably being VGA.

The source also posted an image of the handset’s left side, showing what appears to be two magnetic pins. We assume that these pins could be used for docking and charging the device in a landscape orientation.

In addition, the “Honami” is also expected to pack a 5-inch 1080p display, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM.

Below is a photo that was allegedly snapped using one of the “Honami” prototypes which was then uploaded to Facebook. Nevertheless, the reliability of this image cannot be verified as the social network automatically removes EXIF data and resizes the image. So for now, we’ll just have to take they’re word for it!
