Google has recently launched its “Maps Views” webpage, which is dedicated to uploading and sharing Photo Spheres on Google Maps, and now it seems the team at Mountain View are trying to encourage more Nexus owners to use its service; by publishing a video teaching them exactly how to create perfect 360-degree street view-like panoramas.

The tutorial provides us with many tips on how to achieve the best Photo Spheres and some are obviously more important than others, so we’ve extracted the bits that we feel are of utmost significance, which you can find below:

• Hold the phone close to your body at eye level
• Hold the camera with the blue dot centred inside the donut
• Make full rotations holding at each angle until a full 360 degree view is created
