Samsung Galaxy NX Camera Pricing & Availability In The U.K.

Samsung-GALAXY-NX-640x391

We have started to receiving pricing information and availability for Samsung’s Android-powered 4G LTE/Wi-Fi enabled mirrorless camera. British camera retailers, Jessops and Wex Photographic, are both listing the Galaxy NX with a whopping £1299.99 price tag.

The NX features a 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor, a 4.8-inch HD display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and ships running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Both vendors are selling the device with an 18-55mm OIS kit lens.

Samsung justifies the hefty price tag by claiming that the Galaxy NX is a respectable professional camera that houses a wide range of customizable aspects – which, in fact, it does. However, the price tag is still a little too steep for what it is.

Jessops catalogue the NX as available for home delivery as from today, while Wex Photographic is still awaiting stock so for now it’s pre-order only.

There’s still no word on the U.S. pricing or availability as of yet, but we assume that the device will be available to purchase for around $2,000.
