LG Teases Its QuickWindow Case For The G2

LG Specialized Cases

LG Electronics is gearing up for its August 7 event in New York City, where the company is scheduled to unveil its long-awaited G2 smartphone. To add to the excitement, LG has posted a teaser image displaying seven handsets decked out in QuickWindow cases that show different views through their transparent windows.

The flip case is fairly similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S4 S-View Flip Cover, housing a rectangular transparent window in the center that brings a mass of added functionality to the G2. This window will enable you to view a digital, analogue or alarm clock, the current weather (which is location-dependent), the music player, handset notifications, as well as incoming calls and text message details.

The QuickWindow case will be available in 7 colors: black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint and yellow.

In terms of specifications, it is rumored that the G2 will feature a 5.5-inch, full-HD 1080p display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and possibly a colossal 3GB of RAM.

At this precise moment in time, we do not have any pricing or availability information on the G2 or the QuickWindow case; however, we’ll learn more about both the handset and its accessories at the LG event on August 7, from which Cult of Android will be bringing you live coverage.
