The “glamor red” HTC One is set to debut in the U.K. on August 13, as a Phones4U exclusive. A recent leaked press render suggests that the special edition handset is now also on its way to Sprint in the U.S. for its first showing, too.

The render was posted on Twitter, courtesy of @Evleaks, displaying the One in a slightly different shade of red to which we have seen on the U.K., but it still looks great.

In terms of specifications, the handset is completely identical to the original One, featuring a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and a non-removable 2300 mAh battery.

Sprint has carried the HTC One pretty much since its release date, back in March, and it is believed that this new color option, introduced by both the carrier and the smartphone giant, is a bid to encourage the injection of some new sales.
