Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (build JWR66V) is now available to download for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. However, this update doesn’t use Android’s standard upgrade process; instead, you will have to download the official 4.3 factory images and install them on your device.

The factory images are not your standard JPG; they are in fact images which allow you to directly update and wipe your device, effectively installing the newly released operating system from scratch.

This method cuts out the ‘middle man’ meaning you don’t have to wait for the OTA to be pushed out to your Nexus device; instead you can take the manual path and install the new OS right now.

Android 4.3 brings support for multiple user accounts with restricted profiles, Bluetooth low energy technology, OpenGL ES 3.0, new and improved parental controls, as well as some other new features.
