There has been some speculation as to when Sony is planning to announce the rumored Honami device, and it appears that we could be seeing the unveiling at its July 4th event being held in Paris. We believe the design of the device is similar to the Xperia Z, but that the Honami is a tad bit bigger.

The source that leaked this information is the same source who obtained and leaked the exact specifications of the Xperia Z and Xperia UL, which turned out to be spot on, on both occasions, we therefore have good reason to assume this information to be just as reliable.

In terms of specifications, the device is rumored to feature; a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20-megapixel camera. The Honami is also reported to be water and dust-proof, living up to the high standards set by the Xperia Z.
