Verizon Brings FiOS Mobile TV & Video On Demand To Android

Last night,Verizon brought its newly-developed FiOS Android application to the Play Store. The application enables you to stream live TV, access Video On Demand and manage your DVR programs — all from your Android device.

The FiOS Android application allows current FiOS customers to stream 75 different live TV channels, manage DVR programs and access Verizon’s large library of Video on Demand (VOD) programs, all on your Android device. You will even be able to use the FiOS application as a real-time remote for your FiOS TV box.

Verizon’s FiOS Android application will also allow FiOS customers to view your Flex content, this will give you instant access to over 40,000 different titles. Best of all, you’ll be able to access Flex content directly from your Android device.

Included in the FiOS Android Application is a secure link within My FiOS application which will allow current customers to access FiOS Digital Voice mail, view/pay their current bill and view call logs.

It’s been claimed by Verizon that almost all Android devices are supported to use the FiOS application. Some of the devices included are the Galaxy 10, Galaxy S4, Droid RAZR M and Moto Droid X.

If you’re a FiOS subscriber and own a device that is compatible with the FiOS Android application, which we believe to be most Android devices, be sure to hit the source link below to download the application.
